Suspense Stories
After analysing the pictures below, the LCE students imagined what happened next. The following texts are their creations. Enjoy ! Mrs Gabillard
PICTURE NUMBER 1 (Lihn, 3e F)
The girl on the road was going to kill the girl in the car.
The car stopped and the girl who was being driven (Brittany) saw the little girl on the road.
Brittany : – Dad ! Look at this girl ! She looks like a girl in the horror movie « The Shining ».
Kurt (Dad) : – What girl are you talking about ?
Brittany : – That girl ! Dad ! Are you kidding me ?
Kurt : – I’m not kidding. What girl ? I can’t see anyone !
Brittany screamed and the girl in a nightgown killed her.
Kurt : – OMG !

The driver was absorbed by the girl in the wing mirror. Also they didn’t have time to look at the other girl on the road. Eventually the driver broke the girl in white’s legs. She clung to the car’s door and soon enough it crashed into a tree and then the girl in the wing mirror threw a piercing scream.

« Start the car ! Hurry up ! »
The girl dressed in white looked at us and walked slowly.
She didn’t have shoes and her feet were grazed and covered with blood. I was very anxious and shaking with fear. When the car started, she jumped on the car.

The girl stopped walking and my dad went out of the car and went to see her. She was injured. She jumped and started to eat my dad. After that, she came to me and tried to eat me too but I killed her with the car.

The girl in white : – Come and play with me !
The girl in the car : – Daddy !!
The dad : – What’s the matter ?
The girl in the car : – Look daddy ! Look at the girl !
The dad : – I can’t see anybody !
The girl in the car : – Dad ? You don’t see the girl !? The girl in white on the road !!
The dad : – I can’t see her !
The girl in the car : – STOP !! Stop daddy !! Stop the car ! PLEASE !
The dad : – Why ? I can’t see why !

The car stopped and the girl got off the car and said to the girl : « Hello friend ». The other girl didn’t answer. The girl in the car went back to her car and the girl in white disappeared. When the girl was in her car she saw the little forest girl who sit behind her in the back of the car. This one said with a deep voice : « Hello friend ». And she ate the girl and said « Oups! I ate my new friend »

Oh ! Mom it’s a trap ! I’m scared. The girl in the white dress looks so creepy, I think she is a ghost or a zombie. Mom ! If we do not leave now she will kill us! Speed up and run her over, NOW ! I don’t understand why she is attacking us and not someone else ?

Girl : « Mom ! Please drive over her ! »
Mother : « Okay ! But give me five dollars . »
Girl on the road : « Whaaaaaat ?! Ask her to pay you more! »
Mother : « Ten dollars ? »
Girl on the road : « At least triple of it ? »
Mother : « Thirty dollars ? »
Girl : « No ! it’s too expensive ! »
Girl on the road : « You know what ? I’m going ! »
She went back into the forest to scare other people …

Great.
It’s been an hour now, and I’m still stuck in that dang forest.
My phone died which means no GPS, no map, no directions whatsoever, and I’m almost sure that I drove past that tree just a minute ago.
I’m lost. Now that’s just perfect. I’m lost, at night, in some random forest. This oddly feels like the beginning of a cheap horror movie.
I hear a noise that seems like the sound of a branch cracking. I can’t really figure out where it came from, but I don’t care. It’s probably just an animal.
I keep driving, trying to get out of this forest. But every path look the same.
« Huh ? »
What the hell was that ? I swear I saw something.
Oh God, I saw it again. This isn’t an animal. It looks like a human silhouette, but it’s incredibly fast…
I’m not that much of a coward usually, but right now, my nerves are almost combusting. I decide to go as fast as I can. I’ve got to get out of that stupid forest, no matter what.
I think I might have eaten something weird because I’m starting to hallucinate. I keep seeing what seems to be a little girl in a white night dress, except that she teleports between each tree I come across.
« This is a nightmare. It has to be. This isn’t real, something like that doeszn’t happen in real life, does it ? »
I keep driving while trying my best to deny what is happening in front of my eyes. My anxiety is starting to build up. I panic and violently take a turn out of the path. My car goes straight between two trees as it rushes down a slope. I try to slow down. I fail.
I hear a creak behind me that seems to come from the back seat. I’m too scared to look behind me so I glance at the wingmirror, and…
The girl is here. She’s in my car, staring at me with her empty eyes.
I violently kick the brake pedal, but it’s useless. I completely lost control of my vehicule. My heart is racing as I helplessly scream. With my eyes full of tears, I take another look at the wingmirror. She’s staring at me, and now she’s smiling, showing mutilated bloody lips and yellow, sharp teeth. She’s smiling, mocking me.
I glance in front of me, and see a tree, a few centimetres away from my face.
My vision goes blank, and all I hear is a distorted child laughter.
There’s a disgusting iron taste in my mouth…

The little girl saw someone killed, the killer turned his face toward the hole and the little girl discovered the murderer was her mother and then her mother called her but the little girl was scared and hid. When the mother didn’t saw her daughter arrive, she went to search her around the house totally furious. The little girl saw her mother arrive and fled out of the house in a forest in her white nightgown. She saw a car in the wood and begged the driver to open the car door because she could hear her mother calling her name, but the driver sped up because he was scared by the little girl.

The girl told her mother :
« Mum ! Mum ! Someone is staring at us !
– Where ? Her mother asked
– Here ! On the wall ! »
The girl showed the wall with the hole. The panicked mother took the hand of her girl and ran as fast as she could but the person who was staring at them, followed them.

She looked at the people from behind the wall and began to hit it.The family, who lived in the house where the girl was, were worried so they decided to break the wall. But they didn’t know the girl was a demon…

This woman was an old lady who lived in an old house ans she peeped through a hole in her wall to watch people going on. One day a little boy walked past her house to go to school. He was intrigued and scared. Would he knock on the door to find out whose eye it was?
